Atchison High School looks to the future.
At the USD 409 School Board Meeting, Jan. 23, the school board unanimously voted to start a 1 to 1 iPad initiative for all 9-12 students at Atchison Public Schools beginning in the Fall of 2012. "iPad inspires creativity and hands-on learning with features you won’t find in any other educational tool — on a device that students really want to use. Powerful built-in apps and apps from the App Store let students engage with content in interactive ways, find information in an instant, and access an entire library wherever they go. New Procedures for School Safety As part of our continued efforts to provide a safe and caring learning environment for all of our students, all schools in our district will have new procedures for visitors beginning on our first day back from the Winter Holiday Break (January 4). |
